Alex Castillo

Alex Castillo has a diverse education, entrepreneurship, and community development background. She holds a Bachelor’s in Public Administration and Community Development from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Elementary education
.

Alex founded and managed The Brick House LLC, a LEGO robotics learning center, honing her strategic planning, marketing, and financial analysis skills. She also served as a teacher and long-term substitute at Ralph Stearley Elementary School in Okinawa, Japan, gaining experience in bilingual communication and culturally responsive teaching.

Before joining the Rio Grande team, Alex worked at the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, managing sales, membership initiatives, and grant writing. Alex brings her unique blend of skills, experiences, and enthusiasm to her role as the Director of Admissions at Rio Grande School.
