Stu Pendleton's journey has been one of educational dedication and outdoor passion. Joining Rio Grande School in 2005, he left temporarily in 2019 to embark on a bike journey until 2021, during which he also taught Geometry at Santa Fe Prep. Stu’s son Gavyn, an alumnus of RGS, is currently an engineer at Los Alamos Labs. Stu holds a BA from UNM and a teaching certificate from Santa Fe Community College. Stu has called Santa Fe home since 1989, where he indulges his love for biking, skiing, and volunteering with the Santa Fe Adaptive Ski program. Stu's roots in a lineage of math education enthusiasts continue to shape his remarkable journey. Stu is also an aficionado of breakfast burritos.
